A Very Important Question
My ring and the fake ring!!
This is all because I sent him a picture of a slurpee!
Two years ago on April 19th, Steve asked me to be his wife and I, of course, said yes!!!!!!! Steve proposed at a park near Ann Arbor, that we had gone to on our first date and lots of times with the kids fishing and bike riding. I had no idea he was going to ask me that day, I actually thought he was going to ask when we were up north for Valentine’s Day- so I was completely caught off guard. He actually made me a fake ring out of a weeping willow branch, but then told me he could do better, got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife (that’s the very short version, but you get it). Two weekends ago we spent the day in Ann Arbor and on our way home stopped at the park with the kids, Leighton was cute she kept asking Steve to ask me again just like he did the first time! This is the last time I will be Steve’s fiancé on this special day, next year I will be his wife! I’m so thankful that Steve decided to ask me to spend forever with him two years ago and in just ninety-four days, I will be his wife!!
