Weekend Recap: First Weekend of Fall

While this past weekend was the first weekend of fall, you would have never guessed it. Here in Michigan, the temperature was in the high 90s and full of sunshine- not your typical end of September day. So we made sure to take advantage of the warm weather when it was bearable. Saturday was a very busy day, that morning Camden and I made a trip to the Royal Oak Farmer’s Market for pumpkins, veggies and fall flowers. The afternoon was spent getting ready for Leighton’s birthday party and a squeezed in a little Pinterest fall sign project. Next up on the to-do list was getting Jared ready and off to homecoming. Lastly, we went out to dinner and for ice cream with my parents to celebrate my mom’s birthday a little bit early. Needless to say, Saturday was nonstop, but the weekend wasn’t over yet and Sunday was going to be just as busy. We had Leighton’s birthday party at Legoland and then everyone came over after for dinner, cupcakes, and gifts- more about the party will be coming soon. Overall it was a great, but busy weekend spent with family and friends!
