Target’s $5 January Beauty Box: #GOALS

This was my first $5 Beauty Box from Target and I have to admit, I’m very impressed. I did not feel that the items were of poor quality by any means.

Fun fact, my dad made me this cute snowman for Christmas last year!

1. [Carol’s Daughter: Black Vanilla Leave-In Conditioner] Weightless leave-in formula with wheat protein and pro-vitamin B5 strengthens and revives dull hair to prevent breakage.

My Thoughts: The smell is a little strong, but it seems to work pretty good. I need all the help I can get to fix my dry hair!

2. [Colgate: Enamel Health Whitening Toothpaste]Dual-action formula replenishes natural calcium while it gently polishes, whitens, and freshens.

My Thoughts: Unfortunately I can not use this toothpaste, I only can use a gluten free brand. But I will make sure it goes to good use!

3. [Mane ‘n Tail: Shampoo] Fortified with moisturizers and emollients to deep-clean without stripping natural oils for voluminous, shiny hair.

My Thoughts: I passed off this shampoo to Camden, with being on swim team and her being exposed to chlorine everyday- she needs all the help she can get and from what I can tell it seems to be helping.

4. [Vaseline: Cocoa Butter]Rich, conditioning jelly absorbs quickly to lock-in moisture and gently heal dry, cracked skin.

My Thoughts: Again the smell is a little strong for me, but I do like using this on my legs to keep them moisturized during these winter months.

5. [SheaMoisture: Peace Rose Oil Shampoo and Conditioner] A blend of alpine, damask and musk rose oils gently cleanses nourishes hair and soothes irritated scalps.

My Thoughts: Based upon the description I did not think I was going to like these products, but I actually liked them a lot! My hair felt very clean and smooth after using both of these.

6. [Simple: Cleansing Facial Wipes]Ultra-soft wipes with vitamins B5 and E gently remove dirt, grease and waterproof mascara.

My Thoughts: I have used these from past beauty boxes and love them! These are great wipes to use before working out or going to the pool.

7. [Palmer’s: Coconut Oil Body Lotion]Raw, sustainably sourced Coconut Oil and Tahitian Monoi Oil boast fatty acids and proteins for hydrated radiant skin.

My Thoughts: I love anything and everything with coconut oil! This lotion I have on my desk and use it daily.

8. [Miss Jessie’s: Quick Curls]Fast-acting, lightweight spiraling creme is enhanced with soybean extract for smooth, frizz-free curls.

My Thoughts: I have not used this product yet, but based upon the reviews I’m thinking I will like it!
