Weekend Recap: Belle Isle

Summer days are supposed to be spent outside, making memories and without electronics (well besides the camera to take a few pictures). A couple of Saturdays ago that is exactly what we did, we spent the day fishing, exploring and kayaking on Belle Isle (a tiny island in Detroit, which is also a state park). We had such a fun morning and afternoon being unplugged, enjoying the outdoors, catching a few fish and even having a picnic lunch. I will definitely be missings days like that in the middle of February.
