Now that all of our Valentine’s Day celebrations are over and February is almost done, I figured it was time to put it on the blog. On February 14th, Steve and I celebrated actual Valentine’s Day with fondue at home and asked each other 51 random questions. I had compiled my own list from different lists I had found online, like what are your 5 favorite foods, which of your 5 senses would you give up if you had to, what musical instrument would you want to learn how to play and you get the point. At first, I was a little disappointed we weren’t actually going out to dinner on Valentine’s Day, but staying home turned into a great night. February 15th we celebrated with the kids, of course, Cupid brought a few little gifts for the kids and we had waffles with pink whip cream and pink drinks! For our last Valentine’s Day celebration, Steve and I went to The Whitney for dinner for the first time. Dinner was pretty good, I bit underwhelming. But after dinner, we headed up to the second floor for dessert at The Katherine McGregor Dessert Parlor… which is amazing. Overall it was a pretty great first Valentine’s Day as husband and wife!
