The Finishing Touch- November Birchbox

Here’s what came in November’s Birchbox :

1. [amika: Silken Up Dry Conditioner] This mist acts as a conditioner, detangling and softening your locks to make them manageable and lustrous. Spray dry hair from mid-lengths to ends to refresh second-day stands.

My take: Well this is a game charger! I was loving dry shampoo, to make sure my hair wasn’t greasy. But now with dry conditioner, it’s amazing how much better my second or third day hair looks!!

2. [Bumble and bumble: Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil] This best-selling blend of six nourishing oils smooths, strengths, defrizzes, and boosts shine. Use as a finisher after styling to control flyaways and add polish

My take: I was excited to see Bumble and bumble hair oil in this months Birchbox, I use some type of oil on my hair everyday. So it was great to be able to try this one out- so far so good!

3. [Coastal Scents: Blush and Highlighter Duo] These favorites from the Blush & Bronzer Palette impart a radiant glow. Add the highlighter to cheekbones and under the brow for a lifted and defined look.

My take: I’m not one to use highlighter and if do, it normally doesn’t turn out great. So it was fun to become a little bit better at it with the blush and highlighter duo.

4. [Dr. Jart +: Ceramidin Cream] This lightweight cream is full of ceramides, making it a powerhouse hydrater that boosts skin’s moisture retention. After cleansing, rub a nickel-size amount into skin.

My take: I feel like I need to try out face creams for at least a week to really notice a difference. But right now I’m liking this cream, it really does feel lightweight and seems to be helping my super dry skin!

5. [Milk Makeup: Ubame Mascara] This mascara is infused with ubame oak charcoal and sapphire dust for an ultra-dark color. Plus the triple-ball applicator brush is perfect for reaching tricky outer corners.

My take: At first I was like- really another mascara! But let me just tell you this brush is a game changer!!! I can’t believe how much I love the triple-ball applicator and how much easier my mascara goes on and better looking it is!
